DIY Reversible Neon Heels
Oxfords have been in fashion for a few seasons now, and if you have
stayed tuned with the different DIY blogs, pimping them with neon soles
is a trend. I absolutely love the look, but I don’t know if I am ready
to go all in to permanently change my favorite pair. So I am
digging out my current love affair (colored duck tape) and making a
reversible pair. Get your duck tape on and follow my lead.
colored duck tape, utility knife
Start on the inside of your shoe (for the least visible joint) and tape
all the way around the sole. Make sure the edge of the tape is parallel
with the edge of the sole. Then take a utility knife and follow the edge
of the sole with, cutting of the excess tape.
I followed almost the same procedure to make my reversible neon heeled
pumps. It's the same feeling, I love the trend and the look, but I'm not
ready to part with a fav pair of pumps and make them neon forever. You
can only use neon heeled shoes so many times before you over do it, and
with this method you can switch up the color and remove it when you are
sick of it!
Do you love it?
